Future Makers stories

Enosh's story

My experience as a Future Maker has been extremely valuable. Through the programme i had the opportunity to complete a work placement with Hadley Property Group which provided me with practical workplace experience and helped me develop both my professional and personal skills.

The placement gave me valuable insight into the industry and allowed me to gain confidence in a professional environment. The Future Makers programme has opened up opportunities that have supported my development and future career aspirations. I am also pleased to share that I will be working with Hadley Property Group again in the future which reflect the positive impact and connections I have gained through the programme.

Zakiyyah's story

The Future Makers programme changed my life. It opened the door for me to do work experience in the construction industry, allowing me to test the waters before committing, and once I had my foot in the door, so many opportunities followed.

Through this, I’ve met incredibly inspiring people and found myself in rooms that I once thought I could only dream about. I’ve attended UKREiiF, spoken with councillors, and accomplished so much more than I ever anticipated. I’d recommend Future Makers to anyone who is serious about the beginning of their career. You never know what doors it could open.
